I was reading the other day how culture in a company persists even if all the people eventually change.

When I began working at my current $job I was specifically told that they are trying to change the engineering culture by bringing new people in after 90% of previous engineers went away. What I realize now after 1.5 years is that this goal is only imaginary because there is zero resources dedicated to that goal. You can’t do that if you are expected to run on the feature request treadmill at a high pace.

I’m curios what are others’ experiences in that regard who saw more organizations on the inside.
